HOW KINZIE QUINN WAS BORN: FROM DESIGN TO DREAM

HOW KINZIE QUINN WAS BORN: FROM DESIGN TO DREAM

A Founder's Story

I’ve always believed that fashion is more than just what you wear, it’s art, confidence and it’s how you show up in the world. And for as long as I can remember, getting dressed has been my favorite part of the day. It’s when I get to choose who I want to be, how I want to feel, and what energy I want to carry into the room.

Yes, I played dress up as a little girl just like any child. But I wanted to wear it every day.  I wanted to wear hot pink heels with sequins to the grocery store, school and around the house in every season.  And I grew up on a farm!  My grandma had a collection of silk scarves and costume jewelry. And doing fashion shows in the same things over a hundred times is a top memory of mine.

Fast forward to office 9-5 me. I was so excited when I finally got a big girl job only because I could dress up for work (& heels) every day. When I was spent every night shopping online for Olivia Pope outfits, I slowly started noticing the gap in the market when it came to women’s workwear.   Every collection had neutrals and silhouettes that didn’t make me feel bold, feminine, or powerful and If you wanted to dress like Olivia Pope you were spending on Olivia Pope’s budget…. I craved bold office outfits that had structure and personality pieces that could hold their own in any boardroom, yet still be taken seriously.

It's almost as if brands think women don’t want to wear color or fitted clothing to the office because they don’t get taken seriously. That’s so false! If you’re good at your job you can still dress up and be taken seriously.    You shouldn’t have to sacrifice self expression.

I wanted to make a brand that is designed to balance stye and professional.

That’s when the idea for Kinzie Quinn was born.

The Spark Behind the Brand

Kinzie Quinn started when I was young with a dream scribbled in sketchbooks and sewed protypes from Joann’s fabric. But then I got serious. and I’d spend hours choosing fabrics, tailoring patterns, and shaping every piece with intention. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a mission: to design clothes that made women feel confident, capable, and seen.

I didn’t just want to create beautiful pieces. I wanted to build a brand that helped women step into their power.

From Sketch to Statement

Each Kinzie Quinn piece had a vision. The Ryann Military Blazer was inspired by the feeling of standing tall and taking up space. You cant help but feel empowered and bold when you wear it. The Keeks Skirt is a reimagined pencil skirt professional, yes, but never boring. We decided on the longer length for women that wanted to stay appropriate, and it gives a little to the imagination. The Kate Scalloped Jacket was inspired by the prim and proper women but with a flirty and flair twist. The Valentina Cape Blazer? That’s for the woman who walks into the room like she owns it (because she does).

Every design decision from gold buttons to tailored seams to the colors is made with power dressing in mind. We believe in clothing that commands respect and celebrates style.

The Mission That Drives Us

Kinzie Quinn is about more than fashion. It’s about *how fashion makes you feel*. Our mission is to inspire women to dress up again for work, for life, for themselves. Because when you feel powerful in your clothes, you show up with more confidence, creativity, and courage.

We’re redefining what power dressing looks like: timeless, elevated, and unmistakably bold.

This Is Just the Beginning

Launching Kinzie Quinn has been the biggest leap and proudest moment of my life. I poured my heart into every stitch, every shoot, every message. And my hope is that when you wear these pieces, you feel that energy. That intention. That belief that you’re capable of anything.

This brand is built for you, and this is only the beginning.

Thank you for being part of it.
